Solid flotation rubber boom is designed for permanent deployment or for immediate response in oil spill containment. This boom is widely used in open seas, harbors, rivers and in bay areas to recover oil spillages.
Features
1. The boom is made of extremely durable double strength synthetic fabric covered with heavy duty neoprene rubber. It is oil resistant, wear resistant, seawater resistant and UV-resistant.
2. With superior buoyancy-to-weight ratio, high strength and good stability.
3. Smooth boom surface to guide spilled oil to collection point, either side can be used for combating spills. And easy recovery, cleaning and maintenance.
4. Marine grade extruded aluminum ASTM style end connectors.
5. Stainless steel end fittings, external ballast chain to ensure maximum boom draft. The boom skirt can contain oil spill with its unique “Concave Effect”.
6. Auxiliary device: The other boom accessories customized by clients’ requirement are available. Please seek help to our company’s engineer.
